Jonathan
is the husband of Carrie Pascual and father to daughter
Elena and son Isaiah.
Born in Torrance, CA, Jonathan was raised in the church
founded by his grandfather and was singing and making
music from an early age.
His musical roots led him to study at Los Angeles Harbor
College where he earned an
A.A. degree in Liberal Arts with an emphasis on music
and sound engineering.
Jon & Carrie first met in church and have since
been inseparable. Sharing their passions has led to
the formation of their sing-a-long storytelling venture,
Storytunes.
They have been performing their “merry mix of
story and song” in libraries and classrooms throughout
Los Angeles and Orange County since 1998.
Jonathan
has been fortunate to enjoy a career within the non-profit
sector with companies such as South Bay Center for Counseling,
Star
inc., and The
Jester & Pharley Phund. His experiences include
Program development and administration as well as musical
instruction to pre-school and primary grade school children.
Additionally Jonathan currently sits on the Local Advisory
Board for First Book.
